The business started as a humble Riziki Salon in 1984 under the management of Riziki Awadh, the current principal of the college. Being a teacher by-profession, she started a hair college under the current name. The college has produced over 15,000 professionals over the years, who are working all across the country and even abroad. Most hair colleges in Mombasa have employed some Rizfar’s past-students as instructors.
